Chubby

Chubby is the first pet every player has. Its ability, Big Target, scales slimes up to 150% size for about 5 seconds, which also makes them easier to tap.

How it works

• Press the pet button (or Space on PC). Every slime on screen grows, and slimes that spawn during the effect grow as well.
• The slimes shrink back smoothly when it ends.
• Three uses per level in Adventure Mode, with a 10-second cooldown that pauses while the game is paused.

When to use it

• Shield Slimes: two taps are easier on a big target.
• Surf levels: fast, wavy slimes are easier to catch when they are larger.
• Ghost Slimes: a bigger target gives you more room when the slime briefly turns solid.

Tips

• Hold the first use for a crowded screen rather than opening a level with it.
• Chubby is a perfect pair with Echo because the second pop lands more reliably.

Existing players received Chubby automatically in a past update. New players can choose a first pet during the intro tutorial.

In Casual and Defense Mode

Endless modes have no use limit. Instead the cooldown is lengthened: base cooldown + 18 ÷ max uses (whole number). For this pet that is 16 seconds between uses. See Pets in endless modes.
