Vortex
Clears every slime from the screen. Awards no points.
Vortex’s ability is an emergency button. Press it and every slime on screen is cleared instantly.
How it works
- Cleared slimes do not give points and do not trigger penalties, whether good or bad.
- Two uses per Adventure level, with a 20-second cooldown.
- It is the most expensive pet in the Store.
When to use it
- In Casual Mode and Defense Mode, when a wave overwhelms you and hearts are at stake.
- On Adventure levels, to remove a screen full of bad slimes during a crunch.
Tips
- Pair with Guard in endless modes by switching pets between runs.
In Casual and Defense Mode
Endless modes have no use limit. Instead the cooldown is lengthened: base cooldown + 18 ÷ max uses (whole number). For this pet that is 29 seconds between uses. See Pets in endless modes.
