How hard is it?
About 64 slimes spawn over the full timer. Popping every good slime once would give roughly 58 points, so the target asks for about 88% of that. Difficulty rating: Tight.
There is very little slack. Skip Poison and Trap slimes, and use explosions to catch up when you fall behind.
Tips
- Slimes enter from the right and slide left at a base speed of 280, with random speed and wave motion. They speed up by up to 35% as the timer runs down. A good slime that leaves the screen costs you 3 seconds and breaks your combo. See Surf Mode.
- Pet passives that depend on slimes expiring, such as Bones, do nothing here because surf slimes never time out.
- Poison slimes are bad slimes: tapping one costs 3 seconds. Leave them alone, or use Purify.
- Trap slimes cost a point and halve your score gains for 2 seconds. Do not tap them right before a chain.
- Money slimes score nothing but add 5 coins each to the level total, paid when you win.
- Always tap Extra Time slimes. Two seconds is about two and a half extra spawns here.
Rewards and unlocks
- Winning pays 175 coins, plus any coins collected from Money slimes during the run.
- Clearing this level opens level 21.
